Terms of Use

1. Acceptable Use

Users must not use the App in any way that is illegal, abusive, or violates these Terms. In particular, users are prohibited from:

• Engaging in any activity that could damage, disable, or impair the App or its services.
• Attempting unauthorized access to our systems, servers, or user data.
• Using bots, automated tools, sniffers, or reverse-engineering methods to access or monitor the App.
• Impersonating another person or using another user account.
• Interfering with the functionality or data of the App in any way.

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently block access for users who violate these Terms without prior notice.

2. Accounts and Verification

• To ensure secure access, users must verify their phone number through OTP (One-Time Password) using Firebase SMS verification.
• Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account information and should not share login credentials with others.

3. Plans and Subscriptions

• The current available plan is the Basic Plan.
• This plan allows users to join up to 5 powerlines.

Joining a Powerline means subscribing to electricity updates for a specific area (such as a street or neighborhood) to receive real-time notifications about power outages or restorations.

• Subscriptions are not automatically renewed. Payments are made manually, either by transferring mobile units or paying through our trusted cash collection agents.
• No refunds are provided once a subscription is active.

4. Intellectual Property

All logos, names, trademarks, and content within the App are owned by OTOM8 LTD.No one may use, copy, or distribute our name, logo, or brand without written permission from the company.

5. Privacy and Data Protection

• We respect user privacy and do not share personal data with any third party.
• Location access is collected only to recommend the nearest powerlines and not for marketing or advertising purposes.
• Users can delete their accounts anytime through: Profile : Delete Account.

Deleted accounts are retained for 30 days for investigation or fraud prevention purposes, then permanently erased.

6. Analytics and App Performance

We use Firebase Analytics to collect anonymous app usage data and event tracking. This information is used solely to improve performance and user experience, not for marketing or resale.

7. Termination of Use

Users may stop using the App at any time.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the App if:

• These Terms are violated.
• The App is used improperly or illegally.
• Suspicious or harmful activity is detected.

8. Limitation of Liability

While we strive to provide accurate and reliable services, we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We are not responsible for any losses, direct or indirect, resulting from the use or inability to use the App.

9. Updates to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated within the App.

Continuing to use the App after such updates means you accept the revised Terms.
